Does anyone know where I can find bible stories on cd for children? I started to check out CBD but it's a little overwhelming .
Thank you!

They're not all the bible stories.. but greathall productions (Jim Weiss) has some and I've liked how they're read.. I was just looking at some of the others he has.. and unless you have a coupon for free shipping from cbd.. adoremusbooks is cheaper.. the cd's are a dollar more each but with 2 you'll get free shipping.

My children really love the stories that are put out by Regina Martyrum Productions. They have some on bible stories, as well as some about various Saints. Ours were given to us as gifts, but I believe that All Catholic Books carries them. I hope this helps...

Thanks Jodie & Jessica for your help.
We have almost all of the Regina Martyrum tapes & cds and all the Glory Story cds. I have some old cassettes on Daniel, David & Jesus but I don't think they're available any longer. My little ones love them and one broke this week .

you can use scotch tape and tape and trim the edges so that the cassette will still play with just a little "blip" in that spot.

My mom picked up three "Children's Bible" cd's from the local Dollar Tree store. She bought Vol. 2, 3 & 5 and they each have 10 stories from the Old Testament. To be honest, my kids have only listened to one of them (because I put them in a drawer and forgot about them ) but I just put one in and listened to it and it sounds decent enough. Not sure about anti-Catholic content but the storyteller sounded pretty good to me--much better than the abridged audio-books my mom keeps buying us from the same store They read the stories so fast, I can't keep up, much less my kids and they leave out huge chunks of the original story. But that is a gripe for another post. It couldn't hurt to try the bible stories and see if you like them, at least the price is good.
Speaking of price, have you gotten that e-mail about the difference between men and women? My favorite by far:
Men will spend $2 for a $1 product they need.
Women will spend $1 for a $2 product they don't need but may use one day.
So true!
Blessings,

Thank you for the suggestion! My mechanical DS told me that he has to take the plastic case apart & do surgery 1st . Hopefully that'll work!
