Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

For those near Manassas, Friday, November 2 (tomorrow) will be All Saints first Mass from the 1962 Missal of Blessed John XXIII.

At All Saints Parish, Fr. James Tucker will celebrate the Tridentine Mass as a private Mass at the church. However, we will announce the time and dates so that members of the parish may attend. These semi-private Masses will be scheduled throughout the year. Fr. Tucker will celebrate one of his private Masses on Friday, November 2nd, All Souls Day, at 5:00 pm in the church.

This will be a low Mass as opposed to a high mass with lots of music. I hope to attend, if things work out at home.

St. Andrews is doing this, too, and possibly St. Veronica's in the near future. I'll see if I can get more info and post it here.

There is a yahoo group where you can post the times for the Traditional Latin Masses being offered throughout the diocese of Arlington, Virginia. Our priest, Fr. C. posts his schedule weekly. We have the TLM 3 times a week down here.

Here is the link:

I hope the fact that Fr. Fasano is leaving doesn't mean this won't happen. He will be missed! I'm sure it'll be a done deal at St. Veronica's since Fr. Hathaway will be there now.
