Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Good morning, I have a friend who told me about a wonderful guardian angel book she read, but she can't remember the name of it. One of the chapters tells of how the guardian angels go up with us at communion and if we have done good that week our guardian angels are happy. If there have been no good works, the guardian angels look down because they are not bringing anything to the Lord. This is a sad time because the only time they get to see the Lord is at the Eucharist, since they are working here on earth.

I know this isn't much to go on, but I'm hoping it will ring a bell with someone.

Have a blessed day, Valerie

I can't help you with that title but I can mention another lovely Guardian Angel book that made an impression on my littlies. Angel of God, What'r Your Name?It gently talks about your guardian angel, how you should look to them and talk to them. Asks 'have you a name for your angel?' Really makes it all personal. My 3 to 8 yr olds were fascinated.

Here is a link for thousands of guardian angel books.

Erin, thanks for the info on a guardian angel book for my dd. I realize I'm probably looking for a needle in a haystack. Especially since there are "thousands" of angel books out there. I may try to find where my friend bought the book. Maybe EWTN? She's also hoping to remember the title. It was a book she wanted to buy several copies of to give away. It was actually a book for adults so I may be able to post about this in another forum. I'm also praying to St. Anthony that the title can be remembered (found) by someone.

Have a blessed day.
Valerie

Valerie -

I have been wracking my brain as the story sounds so familiar - I was wondering if it could be in "The King and the Golden City" or in one of the Faith and Freedom Readers? I was just thinking that maybe it could be a story in a bigger collection.

Sorry you haven't found it yet!
