I have The Sacrament of confirmation for confirmation Candidates by New Hope Publications and have a few concerns about it I'd like to run by you kind ladies.

It references several times that confirmation is a sacrament "of adulthood" and makes us "adult christians", "mature christians".

I tend to read that as an error? Confirmation is NOT a catholic version of a protestant proclaimation of faith. Not sure that is the intent of the book, but it's wording is rather confusing I should think if it is not.

Could someone please let me know their thoughts on this if they have these materials?
