Maybe this should be in Prayer Requests?
Years ago, while living in MI, I attended a Wonderful "First Decade" Catholic Women's group for women in their first 10 years of marriage. It was here that I learned so much more about our rich faith, and also gleaned so much sage advice from the "older" mentor women. We'd pray a decade of the rosary together, or sing the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
Fast forward to now, and a close friend and I are in our second year of leading our very own "First Decade" group here in IL.
We usually have in attendance anywhere between 10-30 women. Our focus is growing in holiness as wives, we are NOT a parenting/homeschooling type group as there are plenty of those. We've had a Marriage become con validated in the Church, a few "come around" to NFP from the Pill, and more. A 5th baby born to a mom who was "done" and lots of other exciting happenings.
Could you please pray for us as we kick off the new year tonight? We should have about 20 or so in attendance.
