Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Yes, it's only August, but one son wants to be St. Sebastian for All Saints' Day. A HS mom in our co-op is kind to offer her home every year and this year we will go since little one is old enough. Someone, somewhere, once made a arrow piercing her son's chest (fake!) for the costume but I can't find that info now anywhere. Was it one of you talented ladies? Our little boy will be St. Peter so I just have to sew a pocket on a simple over the head type thing (so he can have a place to keep his keys and his rock!).
