My daughters have been talking a lot about FHC lately. They are just full of questions. Who's making it? Do we know anyone? When? Do HS kids do it too?  etc. etc.
Anyway, I thought it would be nice for them/us to pray for some of the 4real children who will be making FHC this Spring since we don't know anyone around us this year who will be.
If you want to include your child's name and maybe the state you live in, if you feel comfortable doing that.....in this thread, we'll pray for your child.

How sweet!!
Natalie in Texas is going to make her First Holy Communion on Pentecost Sunday.
She will be so excited to see her name up here since I only use a nickname for her on the blog.

I've got two of my "littles" making theirs -- Thomas and Maggie will make the FHC on April 29th at the 8a.m. Mass. Our pastor is wonderful -- he is trying to re-build the parish school and yet is completely open to homeschoolers! Thomas and Maggie didn't go thru Parish CCD and will be making their FHC all by themselves.
PLEASE PRAY for them and me (I tend to stress at times liek these!).

I love this idea, Suzanne. My son Matthew (Worker) from Massachusetts will be making his First Communion this year. I haven't set a date yet. It will probably be at the end of May or in June.

Thanks for this Suzanne! My dd will be thrilled to know she is being prayed for. She is sooo excited about her First Communion! She will also be confirmed at the same time. The date is May 5. Her name is Sarah.

My dd Katie (Katydid on my blog) will be making hers some time next month or in early June... Our parish is very flexible, and we haven't determined a date yet. We are in upstate New York.

My son Boo in Washington, DC.
Yes, Boo's his nickname, but everyone calls him that. He can't even spell his real name (Christopher). I'm making him use his real name on his First Communion banner, and he was so bummed, because nobody will know it's him, that I consented to write "Boo" under his real name.

My son Joseph Michael received his First Holy Communion today on Mercy Sunday! We were drenched both inside(by holy water from a very enthusiastic priest) and outside by buckets of rainwater. What a blessed day! Praying for all your dear Communicants!!
