Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Today is the anniversary of St. Therese's Act of Oblation to Merciful Love. (In 1895 it was also the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity.) In honor of St. Therese I am sending the Offering to Merciful Love and the Little Catechism of the Offering to Merciful Love. I've found the Little Catechism to be helpful in increasing *confidence* that the offering is accepted. Remember that on her deathbed Therese begged the Lord to call a "legion of little souls" who would offer themselves to Love. You can be part of that legion and if you feel called to offer yourself it would be an awesome thing to do it as a family. Just read the Little Catechism together and pick a feast day or any day and make it in front of the tabernacle after Holy Mass and Communion. I know from experience how powerful this offering is so I wanted to share it with you. God Bless!

Thanks, Robin. I haven't seen this before, although the book I Believe in Love is based on her confidence in God. We were just talking about this in the Book Club section under "Favorite Spiritual Books."

Robin, that's great! Thank you so much. I started saying the Oblation last year but got a little overwhelmed feeling that I was being hypocritical-- it looks like the catechism addresses some of the questions I had. Thanks again for sharing it!
