Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I looked at the National Gallery of Art site and they didn't have any inexpensive prints that I saw. Was I looking in the wrong place?

MommyD,

You might check out your local public library. Last year, I discovered that our public library has a vast vertical file of 8x11 prints arranged by artist. I can check them out for 2 weeks at a time. The best part is, it's free!

I didn't know about this resource until I asked about art prints in the Art & Music section of our public library. The prints are not in the computerized card catalog, so I have to actually go to the library and look through the file to find what I want. But I have access to more prints than I would ever buy this way.

Good luck!
Dawn

When I can bring myself to do it, I cut from my book fair finds.

Book Fair Finder

I usually go to the fine art book section and pick up a few books for cutting. The older books don't have the same quality and often they are a little damp. But the books can cost only a dollar to five dollars.

It's best to take two of the same, if you can. Especially when they have the little sized booklets. You can play matching games with them and use the pictures as suggested by
