Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We just completed the Artistic Pursuits lesson that had us carving faces into apples to make shrunken apple heads. It was a lot of fun- my ds especially enjoyed peeling and carving the apple.

Now I am wondering if anyone has done this project and can give me a time frame about how long I will have drying apple heads on my kitchen counter . The manual said it might take several weeks. Is that pretty accurate? Anything to watch out for?

I know Mary G. made them - Apple Doll Craft blog post. Hopefully she will jump in and answer your question about the time frame.

We made these and it only took several days, maybe 4 to 5. If you make these in warm weather it should go faster.
