Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Anyone have a child (maybe a Boy Scout?) who plays the bugle? Where did you purchase it? Can you learn to play online? This is uncharted water for me! My 12 year old son wants to learn for Scouts.

Peace,
Macmom

I have no clue.. our scout troop might be looking for info here soon, two of our new scouts have mentioned they're interested but our scout master owns a bugle they'd be able to use.

There's lots of places online to listen to bugle calls though. (my dh likes the air force site)

And I find these unofficial lyrics to reveille fun.

I can't get 'em up,
I can't get 'em up,
I can't get 'em up this morning;
I can't get 'em up,
I can't get 'em up,
I can't get 'em up at all!
The corporal's worse than the privates,
The sergeant's worse than the corporals,
Lieutenant's worse than the sergeants,
And the captain's worst of all!
I can't get 'em up,
I can't get 'em up,
I can't get 'em up this morning;
I can't get 'em up,
I can't get 'em up,
I can't get 'em up at all!
