Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My dd is very good at art. I have wanted this curriculum forever so now am going to get it so art isn't so hit or miss around here. Anyway - for those who used it - should I start her on the junior high or will she miss something in the 4rth-6th grade books. I am afraid being natural at art she may be bored with the 4-6th books.

I'm doing the 4th-6th grade books with my fourth and sixth grader right now. I think this level is right for my 6th grader, but my 4th grader is struggling. St. Thomas Aquinas Homeschool doesn't use this level until grade 7! Have you looked at the sample pages at the Artistic Pursuits website? Maybe that will help.

Yes, In fact I looked with my dd (funny how I asked here before I asked her!) - she draws alot and has used various books (and parts of books) that we have here or from the library. She wants to start with the junior high because the 4-6 looked like what she does now. I figure if she is frustrated with it I will order the 4-6 and keep the junior high ones for her later - so they won't go wasted. So, I think I will go with what she wants and see how it works.
