I'm looking for a cd that has hymms my kids hear during mass. i have john michael talbot's 1995 collection and wondered if his new cd, city of god would be what i'm looking for. you can't listen to the songs on amazon. has anyone heard this cd? or would you recommend something else? thanks!

It all depends on what hymns you hear at Mass. Usually you can ask your parish about the materials they have purchased for the choir and then they usually have a CD for the parish which they might let you listen to and then tell you where they got it.

we don't have a choir, just a music director. he plays guitar and signs and is wonderful, but there is no cd. we are a very small parish.

Does your parish have a hymnal to sing along to? Do you know the title? This might help us pinpoint the genre of music your church plays to find a cd to match.

we use today's missal and the corresponding hymnal respond and acclaim

Yes, it does. Contains "recording of the psalms and Gospel acclamations"...I think that's what you are looking for.
