I just bought some 100% beeswax modeling clay and it is very hard to mold and use. Any suggestions?

It helps if you warm the beeswax a bit in your hand first. I usually hold the beeswax in my hands while I tell a story; then by the time the story is finished, the wax is workable. Beeswax is much harder to mold than, say, play-dough. It takes more concentration and patience. For that reason, my oldest uses it much more often than the younger two. And still, she only wants to use it occasionally. I do love the smell, though!

I would put ours in a bowl of warm water for just a few minutes and dry with a rag. It doesn't have that problem here in the summer but winter was always difficult.
