Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Anti-colouring Book by Susan StrikerAnti-Coloring Book

Has anyone heard of these books by Susan Striker? They caught my attention as my 4 yo dd has always been very turned off to coloring books and I'd really like to instill a love and passion in her for true art and creativity.

I had one of these books when oldest dd was around 7. She was a very creative child. A common reaction she had to coloring books was, "why does this picture have to be this way?" -- she would imagine ideas beyond what the coloring book dictated she should color. The Anti-Coloring Book gave her good starts on ideas for pictures to complete and then color; she had a good time with that book!

Peace,
Nancy
