Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone use Artistic Pursuits? I was considering it for my 4th grader who has a definite Artistic bent...and a momma who has no time to devote to winging it in this area?

Kathleen

I bought the first book in the kindergarten series last fall and worked through most of it with my children, from preschooler to eleven year old. I also did the lessons myself along with them. I think the program is family friendly and very thorough. Aside from buying the art materials, there is virtually no preparation invloved with each lesson. I bought all the materials at the beginning of the year to avoid having to run out for each lesson.

I learned a lot as did my children. I think it is quite a lovely program.

Thankyou! That was just what I was looking for.

Artistic Pursuit is a WONDERFUL program and spans many years of schooling ... the author and her husband are both artists and homeschool their kids. I love her books and the fact you can buy packs of supplies that you'll need (with plenty left over) is GREAT.

Definitely worth it for your 4th grader!

We Love it here too. Just purchased this year and am looking forward to tying in history with the k-3 book. It ties in the beginning of Moses thru Ancient China.
Great resouce.
