Has anyone volunteered, Helen?

I'm not very knowledgeable, but I do want to study some musicians whose pieces I've played before, and want the kids to learn more. I've put together our list here -- and if no one has volunteered, I might as well, since I'm trying to put stuff together.

The best I can offer though is a very short summary of the musician's life and a couple of recordings to listen to....

We'll be studying St. Hildegard von Bingen's music starting next week -- she was an abbess AND a scientist!
