Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My ds8 is loving his searches on Google Earth. I was hoping some of you could suggest some very cool places to visit. Something perhaps "other worldly" in look.

We love looking at St. Peter's in Rome. That's our favorite place to "fly to".

I was excited when we found Stonehenge. My husband enjoys looking up the world's tallest skyscrapers.

Have you searched any of the sites that list top things to look for? - like Google Earth Hacks. There are some really quirky and obscure things out there. I wouldn't set an 8 year old onto these search sites (though most are good some find things like n*de sunbathers, etc.,) but you can search for things he might find intriguing - like the flying car.

There is also a book called Off the Map which is a compilation of some of those strange finds.
