Has anyone heard anything about Liberty Classroom? good, bad or otherwise?

It's a variety of history courses with either audio or video downloadable lectures from History professors and authors of books like "The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History". There's also an intro to logic and some austrian economics (the same type of economics in Richard Maybury's Uncle Eric book - "Whatever Happened to Penny Candy").

It's $99 for a year of access to any and all of the courses.

I have high school students that struggle with reading (they can but it may never be a favorite thing to do) and I like the idea of history lectures rather than trying to carve out time to read out loud myself. Last year we did a video series on the Constitution.

My daughter Annie loves Tom Woods. She has taken Western Civ I and II with him on the Ron Paul Curriculum for the last two years. He is not doing their American History class so she will take US History via Liberty Classroom.

Tom is a fabulous teacher, and is Catholic and that worldview does come out. I would recommend it!
