Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Any reviews for this? I found one thread via search. I'm wondering how much ground it covers. Half of a high school yr1, 1/3, less?

It says the lesson instructions are on the cd. Does it tell you when to use the games too?

Would it be extremely difficult to use the book in a non consumable way?

How much time per week would you expect to spend with a middle elementary student to get through this program in a yr? Tia.

I am using Spanish with Grace with 3 children from ages 4 to 9. We use the book as a non consumable. The CD's are great - we listen in the car, when doing chores etc Everyone knows the songs off by heart. There are 11 chapters - we take about 3 weeks per chapter. We have a formal session with the book and cd once a week, though listen to the cds several days a week.

Re the book - I don't have anyone write out answers - we do them together orally.

Re games - I did not know there were any - and do not see any reference to them in the text.

I think that the book is a gentle introduction to Spanish - but even with the grammar and vocab is not really a formal course. We use it to learn prayers and vocabulary, but I do not see it as a high school level course at all.

You could supplement with Duolingo - my favorite Spanish online (and app) - my high schoolers are using this as part of Spanish 1
