Do you have a go-to source for comparative religion/philosophy studies for middle school? Today we were looking at China in Story of the World. I also had dd11 read and narrate from All Ye Lands about the country and people. Both texts mentioned that Confucius had a strong influence on the people, but neither really "laid it all out." We have talked VERY generally about other religions and philosophies. I printed out a handout asking the student to identify the characteristics and compare them to what Christianity teaches. All Ye Lands covers Islam quite a bit, but I need a source for other religions that come up in our world history studies. I want to have a book; I may check things on W-pedia, but I don't want to encourage dd11!

Your library probably has children's books about various religions; ours does, and we used several of them for a comparative religions study.
