Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi, I'm due to give birth soon and I'm looking to keep some of my history kids busy while I recover.I'm looking for movie or audio book recommendations for our study of the Middle Ages. The age range is for my 10-13 yr olds.
Thank You

The Door in the Wall
is an excellent story.... very exciting. We loved it on cd- the narrator was great and did all the voices. My ds must have listened to it 20 times over one summer.

I haven't read it, but ds did, and he really liked it!

Also, not historical but for fun, Danny Kaye is a riot in The Court Jester. My oldest also liked Prince Valiant. I also remember really liking The Sword and the Rose as a kid, which, it has historical characters even though it is not historically accurate.
