Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I came across this online copy of Old Catholic Maryland and It's Early Jesuit Missionaries. I found it on this site about halfway down under Edifying History.

I haven't read it, but thought others might be interested.

Hmm, being a new convert I'm not quite sure, but the site I linked may be problematic (not in union?). I can't tell.

If you are interested in Maryland and its catholic history...
If you ever have a chance I encourage you to visit Historic St. Mary's City. We went last fall on the last day they held tours for the season. I have to rank it as one of my all time favorite field trips. Almost everything about the day was perfect! There is a replica of the first catholic church and the "ship" the Dove they sailed over on.

St. Mary's College is located across the street from the historic area. The college had some bad flooding recently that ruined the dorms. Currently the students are using a river cruise boat as a dorm. My dh explained the differences of an ocean cruiser and river cruiser o us and pointed out how the river boat is not ocean worthy. It was so striking to see the tiny, tiny Dove dwarfed by the "river cruise boat." The Dove might be the size of a lifeboat.

I'm assuming you meant the Tradition in Action website you linked?

From the Tradition in Action homepage:
Quote:

ABOUT US

Tradition In Action is committed to defend the perennial Magisterium of Holy Mother Church and Catholic traditions. TIA also works for a restoration of Christian civilization, adapted to contemporary historical circumstances.

I have not looked over TIA's site carefully, nor read anything on the site, I'm just taking them at their word from their mission statement that their site is faithful to the Magisterium. I would encourage carefulness and attention when linking through some of their resource links because just glancing at the list, some of them have raised red flags with me before in terms of fidelity.
