My daughter is going to begin studying the Russian language and currently has a passion to learn all about Russia.

I got several great book recommendations in this thread and now would like to know if anyone has any great DVD recommendations. (She is 11)

The others that are coming to mind have too much violence or other inappropriate material.

Jenn, thank-you for these suggestions!

I have continued to search, but it seems there isn't much available. On the Teach With Movies website, they have 5 or 6 movies listed for Russia, but several are too mature for my daughter at this age. However, we are going to look into these:

Animal Farm (animated)
Nicholas and Alexandra
War and Peace
