Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

If you have done CHC history for 5th grade, is there any reason why I would need the Teacher's Guide for "From Sea to Shining Sea"?

I'm wondering, as well. I will be HS my son next year (who will technically be in 4th grade but will be ready for 5th grade curriculum). Did anyone order the workbook on CD? How was that?

Ugh, we need a CHC Yahoo Group AND CHC needs a review system for people to rate their products.

Another question for those who use CHC: How did you like the 4th grade states study? It looks like it is only included in the lesson plans. I would love to do that with him, too.

Edited to add: Oh, oh!! I found a Yahoo Group for CHC users.

There are over 450 members. I'm signing up....

We used this as our spine for my 5th grader this year and to be honest I did not buy the Teacher's Guide and I felt I didn't need it. If your child likes worksheets you might find the CD workbook very helpful.
