Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone here ever tried using a Pimsleur language course? We're considering trying the Polish version. I'm looking for an oral-only approach I can use along with my dds (6, 4, and 19 mo).

Our family plans to spend a year in Poland a couple of years from now, when my husband has his sabbatical, and we'd like to start studying the language now (nice & easy). My husband has been studying the language for years; I've never studied it. I'm hoping for something that we can just sort of slip painlessly into our lives, rather than make it "work".

Any experiences out there?

Hey Sherry,
Type in Pimsleur in the search catagory, and you'll find some discussion of Pimsleur. I, myself, like it, though your children probably won't. But if they're inspired to learn with the incentive of a year in Poland, it might be a good springboard!
