Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone ever used these kits? They're put out by Scholastic, and they include a "guide book" to different countries, a small jigsaw puzzle, and a puzzle/clue book to solve some kind of mystery.

We received several of them. My son enjoyed them.

My oldest daughter, now almost 16, loved them several years back. She was the only one who actually did the puzzle book to solve the mysteries. I think we might have the whole series. I didn't keep the puzzle books, but the books on each country and the jigsaw puzzles still get used from time to time by the younger kids.

We still get them. I should stop my subscription, though, because my kids no longer do the puzzle book. However, since we redid our bathroom there's no place for the mini-library basket so *someone* strategically placed a few of these books on top of the toilet tank and wouldn't you know it, everyone from my youngest to my husband is telling me very interesting facts about the currency in Kenya to the volcanoes in Ecuador!
