Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Today I ran across this on-line atlas - National Atlas.gov . In general there are lots of great maps, but the coolest feature is the MAP MAKER feature which allows you to create incredible maps of the US (or specific sates/counties by zooming in). You can layer a variety of features and statitistics on your maps to get specific info that you want. You can use it online or print it out. I've played with it an hour and am just scratching the surface of what it offers. It is also linked to TerraServer so you can find specific locations around the country and see the topo and aerial maps of those locations. Check it out! Hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I am (or maybe I'm just a map geek )

Mary,

I'm a map geek, too, but haven't had much time to look over the site. It looks fabulous, though!
