Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I mentioned in an earleir thread that we were traveling up to the East. We will be in D.C. for a few days. Where is the best place to stay? We don't want to be driving all over D.C., but we want to stay in a reasonable priced hotel that has access to what there is to see. Can anyone give me suggestions?
Thanks so much!

I don't think you are going to find "reasonable" and "access" in the same hotel in DC and I can't think of one off the top of my head. If you look online and find a price you like I'm happy to tell you if the neighborhood is okay if you send me the address. Or someone else might have a good idea.

Have you considered Arlington? Or are you looking for a place within walking distance?

We recently took a trip to DC and stayed here

The rooms are more like apartments. We had an entry hall, kitchen, great room that had a queen sleeper sofa and office area and a bedroom with a king size bed. They also provided continental breakfast.

The prices on their site are much higher than what we paid with our AAA discount.

The location was very convenient - nearby easy on, easy off access to major arteries.

We aren't necessarily looking for within walking distance. We can use some other transportation. Since we have never been in that area we were looking for suggestions.
Thanks!
