Today, Ben Franklin would have been 300 years old!

Celebrate with a kite-shaped cake or kite-shaped cookies, while you wear your bifocals and warm yourself by your Franklin stove which rests in your home with the lightning rod on top...

We did the penny challenge and came up with a total between the 5 of us:

25 Heads and
25 Tails...

We sent our individual tallies to the website so tomorrow we'll peek in and see what the outcome was of data submitted.

We did the flip activity at teatime too. The most fun was when Anthony got 5 tails in a row, but ended up with a 6/4 split. That was a great one for talking about probablility. Thanks for the idea. I sent it to my friend in Guam who can still submit her results tomorrow morning her time and make the deadline.

And this link on the Franklin Institute where you can actually try to play a virtual armonica was posted on CCM. It is cool and will be great to do int he morning since we just read about the armonica in a Franklin book tonight and they wondered what it sounded like.
