The 2nd reason is that we're able to get the Catholic perspective from theses cds by Anne Carroll which my dc also enjoy. We have quite a few of them but for the purpose of SOTW, I recommend the ones on Luther, Henry VIII, St. Joan of Arc and the French Revolution. |

Can someone tell me how do I order these? I went to the site but there is just a listing for all of these without a price guide or instructions for ordering? We would like to add these to our Medival studies this year.

We sold these last year at the Real Learning conference and I think I remember hearing that they are selling some of thm away from the school. The website is a little confusing...
It seems that the World Culture series is available this way:
(From the website:)
Quote:
Seton School, 9314 Maple Street, Manassas, VA, 20110
$18.00 per Study Unit + shipping and handling) |
|
|
However, it appears that www.setonproductions doesn't exist, so you can download forms for the World Culture Sampler...
But the History Sampler series seems to be available from:
Quote:
RonArt Associates Recordings
6805 Bulkley Road
Lorton, VA, 22079
tel 703-362-5373
email www.ronart.assoc@cox.net

Anyway, my dh works for Seton, so I'll call the school and ask them what's the best way to order them. Since it's the summer, they have erratic office hours, so it might take me until tomorrow morning...

Maryan,
This would be greatly appreciated. This year I am more interested in the *History Sampler series* to go along with our Renaissance/Reformation era lessons.

THanks for bumping this up Leslie!! I went to school and asked... and then forgot to post the answer. The secretary there didn't know costs and right now Mrs. Carroll is away.
She said Ron Art does have the history sampler. So you do need to call him and order through him.
I told the school that the website needed to be updated too and they are contacting the parent who volunteers about it.
Let me know if you have any trouble.

Hi Leslie,
Sorry we've been away so I'm just seeing this now. I notice he doesn't have the price listed any more. I believe we paid $8/each in the past. When I've e-mailed him in the past, he's gotten back very quickly. The ones I recommended are from the History Sampler series.
HTH!

Thanks for checking into this. I hope they do update the website because after I tried to email Ron about the History Samplers, at the email address provided on the website, it was returned -- sigh. Boy I do hope they are only $8 that would be so much easier on the pocket book.
