Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone used this? Just curious on how easy it is to use. I want to do Trisms History Makers, but I was thinking we should do History links units on creation first.

I have the Creation unit (also one of the Rome ones, and Mesopotamia, too, and I think I have the "beta version" of Middle Ages too.)

The lady who runs the company is very nice.

I have never used them as they were intended. This is NOT because of History Links - it is because I am absolutely horrid at doing (and especially completing) unit studies. They just do not work for me at all. Not just HL, this is all unit studies. I am even bad at the Hands of a Child ones that have everything all planned out for you.

But they are basically easy, they have suggestions for all different ages levels, etc.

People who have used them have posted opinions in these links. I really like them. I think they have a lot of resources and ideas packed into them. From what I gather those who have not liked them, like to have a lesson plan all listed out with supply lists and book titles and questions, narrations, study guides, etc. as part of it. History Links a more a compilation of ideas and the family needs to be willing to do some leg work to pull it together. They do have sample pages linked on their site.

History Links???
History Links
chronological history unit studies?

We use them, and love them. But, we love unit studies. And, I love to plan.
This year (08-09) our family is doing a co-op with some other families and I am using HL to plan it. I am working on my plans for the year currently. I hope to have my basic outline, and planning done before August.

We are studying the Middle Ages this year. HL gives me massive amounts of information to use to pull it all together for our group. This is helpful to me, because I make an outline of what we will be studying exactly, then list and pull together the resources and materials I need to have to do it week by week. When I am making the outline and choosing resources, I start rounding up the books I will be using. I put them all together on a couple shelves that I have devoted to our current studies, so they are easy to get to for all of us. I purchase any new things I think I want to have.
We have all ages - High School to toddler. I don't find it to be difficult to use, but as I mentioned, I like to plan.

That sounds really tempting to use, then. I just don't want to put too much on our plates for next year though--hmm, decisions, decisions...

I used the first three years ago when starting out with unit study/CM ideas. Then I was able to create my own Greece and Rome units. History Links have lots of great ideas for reading and hands on projects. We really enjoyed them.
