Has anyone used this? Is it worth the $27?
Peace,
Nancy

I bought the CD last fall, and I've used it quite a lot already, despite the fact I have only one child being educated at home right now.

Okay, Patty. If you've used it a lot, then I'd say it's worth the $. As it stands now, I spend too much time searching the internet for the maps I need.
Yes, Chari, it's on a CD. So I was thinking, "How much simpler to just print out what I need rather than to go to Kinko's for copies of the maps I now have that are in books."
Thanks, ladies.
Peace,
Nancy

This does look like a good solution .... here's the ordering info for the book ($20) and the cd ($27) ...
I might just need to get this one on CD ...

I was thinking the same thing. Although outline maps can be found online, it would be much simpler to have them in hand, ready to print.
Can you describe some of the features? Does it have options for detail, sizing, scale, etc?

the back of the CD says it contains all the same maps as found in the book, plus bonus maps. Those bonus maps include Canadian provinces, each Canadian territory, shaded relief maps of each of the continents, the world as a whole and specifically Pakistan and Afghanistan; color maps of Canada, hurricane tracking maps, NA relief map, US relief map.
"Rivers are lightly shaded in all maps. Grid lines for longitude and latitude are included where possible. Oceans and larger bodies of water are shaded to enhance reference points."
I haven't looked for options in sizing and details, so I don't know if those choices exists and I'm going to have to cut this short to attend to my daughter. I can say the maps are PDF files. I open the CD, click on the map I want, and click print. There's a sample page here. You may be able to change the size of hte images, but I don't know how to do it.
Now the Signing Time video must be started NOW or it will self-destruct, so I really must go!
