Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone ever been to Frankfurt? DH has a meeting there on Monday and just got the go ahead to go on Saturday and he can bring our 9 year old son with also. They will leave Chicago Saturday night arriving Sunday AM in Frankfurt. So, they'll have all day Sunday, most of Monday and Tuesday morning before they fly home. Neither speaks a word of German, but I did check Rosetta Stone German out of the library last night. I am frantically researching the city on the net, but I'd hoped that someone on the board could give us some good advice on "must see" items.
Thanks!

Jen

Jen,
We lived in Germany for 3 years back in the late '80s and visited again 2 years ago this March. We been a lot of places but other than the airport haven't ever toured Frankfurt. I am sure there are plenty of lovely things to see there though and I would suggest checking out one of those tour guides of which the name escapes me of at the moment (not enough caffeine yet I guess ). And don't worry about not speaking German, pretty much everyone speaks English anyway.

God bless!
