Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My husband has requested that I get for him some larger maps that would be helpful in teaching American History. He would like them bigger than 8.5 x11, to put on a small easel. We are using Beautiful Feet for American History (elementary). I've searched the internet, but I can't seem to find them. Do you all use any maps to aid in studying American History? Thanks for any help!

Ana, the Sonlight site has a laminated folding write on World map and North American map for about $19 with nice fine tip dry erase markers. It's Item #MAP and measures 23 x 34". WE really like this because if you want to move it or put it on a table or away it's super easy to move and fold without having to always take it down off the wall, etc. Probably more info than you were looking for, but HTH! www.sonlight.com

Try Walmart, Cosco or an office supply store. Good luck!

We got most of our large, detailed maps from AAA - at the time they were free to members, but obviously not historical. They do have just about every town on them and you can find obscure places.

Otherwise we have found oversized atlases, CHC sells some maps and so does Seton. Also, try a school supply store if all else fails - they're sure to have it and you may be able to get a teacher discount.
