Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I really like books like A Grain of Rice and would love to find more Living Math Books. Is there a handy dandy list somewhere that someone knows about?

Thanks

Have a short list on my website, at http://charlottemason.tripod.com/CMmath1.html. It's not complete, but there are quite a few listed, for all ages.

MacBeth,
Thanks for the great list! I am going to the lib. today and check out what they have. Have you ever read anything by Stuart Murphy? We enjoy his books with our 4.5 ds. They are just simple picture books with math concepts, language, problems, etc. I have a bit of a math phobia so I want math to be interesting and fun for my ds. I remember crying on the way home from school b/c I had another failed test to be signed by my parents.
I am hoping to avoid that drama in our family.
