Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

For those with an iPad - I need a good multiplication app. DS 10 still hasn't memorized all the tables and I think a good app may help. We do flash cards and review on paper. Plus I have him say new tables out loud and copy them on paper in between us drilling. We have 1 app - can't remember the name right now. But I think I need another. I want one that will let me choose which tables to drill and will let me choose multiple ones - for example I would put in now for it to include problems for the 2's, 5,s, 10's, 11's, and 9's (plus maybe "squares" - 2x2,3x3 . . . . )

I would also LOVE to find one that includes division with each table.

A friend of mine recommended Mathmateer. I haven't tried it, but I guess her son really likes it.

This is not an app, but we use it on our computer and you can probably access it through the ipad's browser: Math-U-See Drill Page.

It's pretty straightforward with no frills, and is what my 9yo used to learn his multiplication facts.

What a timely topic as DS 12 1/2 (many educ. struggles) still hasn't memorized his either. It takes him so long to process math work it's really make it difficult as he moves ahead to keep checking his table as a crutch. So thanks for anyone with resources although I do need computer ones.

I don't know if these are available for iPad, but for our Macbook we have Multiplying Acorns (just multiplication, though there' s probably a corresponding division app -- we also have their addition and subtraction ones), and just today I downloaded one called Math Racing PRO. This one has many, many operations at a range of levels in a car-racing-game format which both my kids found to be really fun and not as "babyish" as some math games.

We've just started using this one, but so far it looks really good, especially in the breadth of what it covers (addition, subtraction, counting up and down, greater than/less than, estimating, place value, as well as multiplication and division).

Again, this is for Macbook, but surely there's one for iPad! Macbook offerings in general are so much more limited!
