Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm always on the lookout for free resources for our homeschooling. Earlier this school year I came across this free Pre-Algebra workbook for my dd13:
McGraw-Hill Pre-Algebra
The link to the "online student edition" (textbook) will not work without an access code, but all the other workbooks are available as pdf downloads. Pair this will topical lessons from Khan Academy and you have a free jr. high math curriculum!

And, lo and behold, while searching for some math activities for my kids in grades 3, 4, and 6, I came across the Saxon Third, Fourth, and Fifth grade worktexts online!
Saxon Workbooks
The website states you need a username and password to download, but someone must have forgotten to place that security measure on the files because I had no trouble accessing them.
Saxon Sixth Grade book

I've come across similar pdf files for big publisher history texts for high school (Glencoe, McDougal Littell). Frankly, I don't know how schools are allowed to do this unsecured file sharing, but I'll make use of what I can while I can!
