Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

OK started ds (third grade) with abeka 3 - it proved to fast too soon and was frustrating. I went out and bought saxon 3 (i know it gets bad reviews but . . . ) not I just read there is a saxon intermediate 3 - how different is it from the other saxon 3? Not that I can afford to get a new curriculum each week! So , I think will make due with the one I got. It just seems that with the primary (1st edition) saxon 3 is too slow. I guess it is easier to supplement an easier curriculum then make due with one too hard for ds (the abeka) and end up with a frustrated kid!
