Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

For those of you who use Saxon Math, do you use the DIVE CDs? What do they include? are the necessary? are the tied to the lessons?

Thanks,

They're certainly not necessary, but I find them invaluable . They follow the book lesson by lesson, presenting the material from each lesson and Investigation. I really appreciate the fact that I don't have to present the lesson to my DS, he can be almost completely independant with his math.

Natalia, I think it depends on the personality of the student. My girls really dislike "computer learning" and would prefer reading through the lesson and doing the problems on their own. Also, since DIVE isn't owned by Saxon, they aren't allowed to use the practice problems from the book so those will always be different. For the upper level maths, Saxon has come out with their own CD called "Saxon Teacher". If I were buying a CD for one of my olders, I'd buy that instead of DIVE. But I won't because, like I said, they just prefer to do it on their own.

Hope that helps some.
