Not a great header probably as I have watched the demo. I am more wondering what the lesson looks like in your home...
-Do you just get the cds are do you use the workbook as well?
-Do you watch the lecture just on the Cd..?
We have used MUS for so many years and I would love some change and have learned alot from this forum, but would like a picture of how it all looks in the day to day.

Ds 11 is finishing up TT5. He only does it at the computer with scrap paper to do his computations. This has been perfect for him as he hates to write. Often I will sit with him and write the problems out as he tells me.
I have heard that the older levels you have to use the workbook. I think I was told that only the lectures are on the computer, maybe the tests, too?

I've checked out all the threads about TT and am really interested. I have a very math phobic daughter (she does really well but lots of problems on a page really intimidates her.) We switched from MUS to Abeka this past summer after doing the back half of the 2nd grade Abeka book all summer to get my DD caught up to Abeka. We are only on page 108 in the 3rd grade math book!!! This is because even sitting down and doing every problem with her she freaks out that she won't be able to do it.
Molly (and anyone who has used the younger years) do you think that this might be a good match for our little one??? I think she would love the fact that there is only one problem on the page at once. The demo looked cool!

I have 5 with the book (which I let someone borrow and have not seen since) and 6 which I only bought the CDs.
I wish I had the book for ds2 because he doesnt care to write down the work and keeps trying to do it in his head. 
Ds 1 has not used the book either for 5 or 6.

We have only used Pre-Algebra & Algebra so far. My daughter is not naturally mathematical, so she was required to watch the CD and read along in the textbook. For any questions she missed, I required her to watch each solutions tutorial. That solutions CD is the reason we use TT. So far, we have yet to encounter any problem that the child didn't understand after watching the solution. Often, she'd say "I know what I did wrong" and I'd allow her to skip watching the solution. Sure enough, a week or two later she was completely lost because she hadn't understood what she did wrong, but only thought she understood it. So, my rule for her was to watch - without fail - every solution for any missed question.
My son, however, is much more mathematically inclined. He works in the textbook only and rarely needs the lesson CD or the solution CD. I imagine when he moves to Algebra II and Geometry, he'll use them more often, but so far he's excelling with Algebra.
I do have a spread sheet where he writes the date, the TT lesson, the # correct out of the total # of problems, and whether he's watched the solution. He's quite independent, though. My eldest was not and I had to be much more involved with her TT experience.

FYI
I had my DD do the sample lessons and she loved them. She did all 22 problems in a row without complaining. I asked her at the end if she did more problems or less than her normal worksheet and she said that she had definitely done less. In reality it was about the same amount of problems.
I think we are going to take the plunge. Thanks for all the input.

Mimi,
I think it is certainly less overwhelming than a workbook page with 20 problems. There is lots of reinforcement, as well, and they get the chance to answer the problems twice which is really helpful.
