Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone tried this site

http://www.cimt.plymouth.ac.uk/projects/mepres/primary/defau lt.htm

It is from the UK and it looks great for the youngers. The only thing is when it comes to money it is done in pounds rather than our currency. But it is free.

I am using Shiller and although I really like it I have to supplement. I was poking around and found this site.

I used one called "MEP" and perhaps it was different--it was free----? Actually I just looked it up and it is not different---and I do believe it is free, if you don't mind printing things out.

Anyway I used it last year with my 7th grader. He liked it a lot. I liked it a lot. Some of the years one could complete online, and the computer gave instant feedback---that meant no correcting papers for me! And he loved doing it on the computer. It seemed fairly advanced/emphasizing logic and thinking skills, but this was fine with that particular child. He is in public school 8th grade advanced math this year, and doing great.

I printed out the 2nd grade lessons for my younger son and he did not like them. I liked them, but his feedback was, "MO-OM, no more little bunny has to find the way to the carrot" . . . maybe he felt it was babyish. I notice they have the 3rd grade online now to do via computer, he might like that----but we already bought an MCP book and I like that fine, too.

There is a yahoo group to ask questions/get help re. this program---the link is somewhere on the ambleside online website (I'm sorry I do not have it anymore!)

Yes it is the same one I have girls and they love bunnies!! I didn't know you had the option of doing it on the computer. Maybe not I have to look into it. I just have printed the pages we needed from week to week.
