Every year around this time my children love to play a game I made up, my children named it Money Pool.

Grab a handful of change before heading to the pool, thow in the money and have them collect as many coins as they can. The goal is not who has more coins, it's who has more money.

That's great! Sounds like a game my grandma used to play with my brother and I as children. Only she would throw small colored tiles off the end of her dock into the lake and we would dive after them. It was a great way to teach us diving/swimming skills. The money angle is a great one to add math into the mix!
