Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We started out using Singapore at beginning of dd schooling(she is now in third grade) but she did not care for it so we went to Ray's Arithmatic and she loves this. We are however at fractions(Just started the 4th grade math)and I need something to help me teach her the concepts and how to do the math from this point on,it is not my strong point.
I was thinking of switching to MUS but it is pricy for only one child.I do not mind speding the money if it works but I was also thinking of sup. Ray's with different wb's.
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance,

Since you love Ray's and it's working well, I'd hate to see you change so dramatically as to go with MathUSee. Have you considered the Key To... series? http://www.keypress.com/x692.xml#Key%20to...%20Series & nbsp;

I can envision a math program in which you use Ray's for everything it's doing so well and supplementing with Key To... or a similar workbook as needed to supplement or clarify.

I do like the old time arithmetic books! They do make me feel woefully *uneducated* though!!! :) :)

I would do something the same as Lauri. I love Ray's but it's hard to do without a supplement. I have used Key to ... to supplement and also I have used Ray's along with the many math sites online.   The second alternative takes some planning, so I like to have some workbooks around to pull pages out of when Ray's isn't clicking or we need a change of pace.     MCP Math works pretty well for that for our family before they are at the age for the Key to... Workbooks.
