Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

This may be irrelevant, But I just ordered a free demo DVD from Math U See. I think you may be referring to School House Rock?

We love School House Rock....we also checked out from the library a DVD of a Reading Rainbow show with the stories, How Much is a Million and I think the other one was How to Make an Apple Pie and see the World.'

Everyone sat and watched those here!

The set I got, Schoolhouse Rock DVD, is lots of fun. I think it was ABC showed a 5 min animated song at the end of a Saturday morning cartoon? Anyway, the DVD collection has American history/civics, English grammar (parts of speech), Math concepts (multiplication, etc) and Science facts. The tunes are peppy and the overall impression is that the kids not only enjoy them, they remember the information ... of course, you might find YOURSELF singing "Conjunction Junction, what's your function?" for a week or so, but you'll survive (I DID! )

You're not missing anything, Chickie. There are 2 DVDs inside the one case. We regularly check it out from the library, and the kids really enjoy it.
