Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am not sure where to put this so I am trying it here. I also did a search on it, but didn't come up with much. So if it was talked about somewhere and I missed it, please let me know.

I have a 10 year old that writes awful. Serious awful. He is now starting to get better but it has been pretty bad. We did the big lined paper and the arrows, etc. We did copywork and what have you, but his writing is just yuck.

Now I am working with my just 7 year old. I don't know how to approach it. I have just been having him write on regular lined paper, because I didn't feel like all the big lines and copywork were useful.

Thoughts? Ideas? I would love to be able to read what my children are writing...

Have you tried Handwriting without Tears? It has a modified alphabet and paper style. Some people don't like the look of the alphabet. While I would prefer a "prettier" look, I'm glad to have the writing legible without lots of frustration. We've had success with it with several of our dc.

You know I have not. I had heard a little about it, but I guess I need to look into it more deeply. I still have two others beyond the first two to go!
