Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi everyone,

We have ditched Latina Christiana.
It just wasn't gelling with us.
We are looking for something that will engage dd13.

I have heard about the Cambridge Latin Course. Has anyone got any thoughts or advice please.

In the same conversation English fron the roots up was mentioned as well.

God Bless
and thanks in advance,
Leanne

Look at Visual Latin- my kids are LOOOOOving it. We have used LC and Henle in the past...

The course moves quickly, gets them translating immediately and the guy teaching it is engaging and real. He reccomends Lingua Latina as a good supplement once you are into the program a bit.

Hey, it is also very easy on mom- I download the short CM length lessons onto Itunes and he watches one then does the corresponding sheet. The organization of it is perfect for my type-A son!!

Anyhoo, they have the first lesson free at their website Visual Latin.

(By the way, I am not a consultant , just loving having an easy option for Latin for once!!)
