Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

How fast do children move through levels? DD is an excellent reader (probaby 3rd grade-ish), but not a speller. In looking at AAS, I cannot decide if we should order just level one or both...trying to save on shipping.

If your daughter is reading that well, she will fly through Level 1 fairly quickly, some lessons may only take a day or two, especially the first few Steps. There is constant review of skills, so she will get proficient at the skills taught at each step. There are only 24 Steps in Level 1. I had an excellent reader like that for Level 1 last year and we started Level 2 in March or April.

Hope this helps.
