Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Have any of you seen this new series by Classical writing, primer? They have one for each of the seasons of the school year. These seem similar to PLL, but it is consumable. It has nature study, copywork, narration and some grammar. They look neat so I thought I would share.

I just saw this last week too. Looks really neat for 2nd-3rd grade! The three books in the series are Autumn, Winter and Spring. The last two are forthcoming later this year.
I plan to order these next year (2010-11) for my then-2nd grader.

This does look interesting. Thanks a lot for adding another option to my planning!

It looks good Valerie. But I couldn't imagine it with a child in grade 1 (or even my grade 2 or 3 boys!). I might even use it with my grade 4 boy and get him to write out his narrations.
