Can anyone give me a link to a site to help teach letter writing to my 4th grader. We are doing the above mentioned lesson but I need to know how to explain to her about organizing her thoughts and putting it in the right format.(I hope that this makes sense.)

I think Lesson 26 and 27 were supposed to help with the format. Here is a link to how to write a friendly letter with a template and a sample, but the main page had other kinds of letters. For organizing her thoughts, it gives an ideas of what the paragraphs should include, and you would use the skills from the previous paragraph lessons in ILL for writing good paragraphs.

We are going to wait for this lesson until after Christmas and have then practice with thank you notes.

Also, I do not have my kids write our address on a friendly written letter since it isn't the current style.
